PROGRAM OVERVIEW:

The ERT 6 workshop is designed to present useful information to employees related to violent or other threatening behavior occurring at or near the workplace.

This course is recommended for employees who engage in customer contact or service activities, reception staff, management team or members of the Emergency Response Team.

Concepts discussed include workplace conditions and individual behavior which can be precursors for violent acts, reasons persons use bomb threats as a type of terrorism, and responding to threats using avoidance rather than confrontation.
