CPR & FA Trainers
Emergency Preparedness Trainers & Consultant
Introduction
We are seeking to develop relationships with qualified CPR instructors as well as Emergency Preparedness Trainers & Consultants to provide services to our clients on an as needed basis.
Ideal candidates already have a training and/or consulting practice and are simply looking to pick up some additional work as opposed to looking for full time employment. Most assignments are located in populated technology and business centers across the U.S.
Typical Assignments:
CPR, FA & AED instruction in a corporate environment.
Updating or creating emergency action plans including exit maps.
Developing emergency procedures
Assisting clients with program implementation.
Customizing and delivering presentations (power point, drills and table top exercises)
Providing training: including building evacuation, incident command & workplace violence.
Requirements:
CPR & First Aid Instructors must have their own training equipment, teach a nationally recognized training program (AHA, Medic, ARC) and stock or have access to required student workbooks.
Emergency Preparedness Consultants & Trainers must have experience writing emergency response policy/procedures in a corporate environment, knowledge of all components of an emergency response plan including building evacuation, medical response, earthquake, fire, weather and other site specific risks and a good understanding of the incident command system (ICS). In addition, you must have training experience with understanding of the principals of training, education and adult learning. Advanced skills in MS Office applications including power point, excel and design software.
